What We Deliver

Your phone system shouldn't be the weak link.

Old on-premise PBX systems are expensive to maintain, difficult to scale, and increasingly unreliable. When your phone goes down, business stops. West Computers manages your VoIP system end-to-end — provisioning, configuration, moves/adds/changes, and troubleshooting — so you're not calling a carrier and waiting on hold.

Our VoIP solution is cloud-hosted, so it works from any location, on any device. Your team can take calls on a desk phone, a computer, or a mobile app — with the same number. That matters when people are remote, traveling, or working from multiple offices.

We integrate your phone system into your broader IT environment — including Microsoft 365 — and make sure it's secured, documented, and monitored like everything else we manage.

How We Work

Our process.

01

Discovery & Design

We document your current phone environment, call flow requirements, number inventory, and user count — then design a system that fits how your business actually communicates.

02

Number Porting

We initiate the port of your existing numbers so you keep your business identity. This process typically takes 2–4 weeks depending on your current carrier.

03

System Configuration

Auto-attendant scripts, call routing rules, hunt groups, voicemail, and user extensions configured and tested before cutover.

04

User Onboarding

Desk phones provisioned, softphone apps deployed, and users trained. We make sure everyone knows how to use the system before go-live.

05

Ongoing Management

Moves, adds, changes, troubleshooting, and billing management handled by West Computers. One call gets anything done.

FAQ

Common questions.

Can we keep our existing phone numbers?
Yes. We handle the number porting process from your current carrier to the new VoIP platform. Most business numbers can be ported. The process typically takes 2–4 weeks depending on the current provider.
Do we need to replace all our desk phones?
Not necessarily. Many modern IP desk phones are compatible with cloud VoIP platforms and can be reprogrammed. We'll evaluate your existing equipment during the discovery phase and let you know what can be reused versus replaced.
What happens to our phones if the internet goes down?
VoIP does depend on internet connectivity. We recommend pairing your VoIP service with a failover internet connection and configuring call forwarding rules to mobile numbers in the event of an outage — so calls still reach your team.
Can remote employees use the phone system?
Yes. The softphone app works on any internet-connected device — laptop, tablet, or smartphone. Remote employees get a full extension on the same system as the office, with the same features.
How much does VoIP cost?
Pricing depends on user count, feature set, and hardware needs. Contact us for a quote based on your specific requirements. VoIP is typically more cost-effective than traditional phone systems, especially for businesses with remote users or multiple locations.
